Columbia Basin development : lower Columbia River fisheries inventory program, 1990 to 1994

Summary: This report presents the findings from a five year study program. The data collected are summarized and compared with information obtained during fisheries inventory studies conducted in the 1980s. The primary objective of the study was to provide a detailed inventory of existing fish populations and movement patterns within the Lower Columbia Basin Development study area. Secondary objectives included assessments of use of the mainstream Columbia River and tributaries for spawning, rearing, and feeding by sportfish and non-sportfish species and the identification of important habitats for resident and migratory fish.
