Looking for our past [videorecording] : a Kootenai archaeological site

Summary: Archaeologist Wayne Choquette and his Kootenay Indian assistant Alan Hunter explore the Wild Horse River Site, DjPv14. Shows how a dig is conducted and hypothesis testing is demonstrated by presence of chert flakes at site and same chert being present at Top of the World Provincial Park where the ancient Kutenai Indians mined the chert and gathered roots, berries and hunted in the summer.
