Summary: In 1973, seventy-five elk were transplanted from Jasper, Banff and Elk Island National Parks to Syringa Creek near Deer Park. This study was initiated to determine the existing winter range and habitat preferences, as well as to map out travel corridors, major trails and bedding areas.
